Photography is my medium – nature is my sanctuary. Combine the two, and that is where I am most at peace.

Photograph of Michael MillerFor as long as I can remember I’ve been fascinated by photography. I remember my first camera.  It was a hand-me-down Kodak Instamatic X-15.  My parents kept telling me to “save the pictures, you only have 24 on the roll.”  Once the roll was done, I had to wait two weeks to get the pictures back.  Let’s just say patience was not a strong suit of mine back then.

Fast-forward to today. I can (and have) shot 1,000 pictures in a day, and I can see them all right away.  While that may not sound like I’ve learned patience, the essence of landscape and wildlife photography is exactly that: patience. Nature will reveal all of its breathtaking beauty only when it’s ready. My job is to hopefully be in the right place and wait patiently and capture the moment at its brilliant peak.

I’m not for hire, but I do sell my images.  Please use the contact form if you’re interested.

Thanks for stopping by my site.  I really do appreciate it.

Cheers,
Mike
